Tulsa on top 20 metros list during recovery

Tulsa is among the 20 strongest-performing metros based on its economic performance during their recovery from the recession, according to a recent report by the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution.

The September MetroMonitor, which analyzed data through the second quarter, is part of a series of reports that track the recession and recovery in the nation's 100 largest metros.

The national report indicates that the recovery in the second quarter continued to be uneven among the nation's largest metro areas.
